Meet the Artist

Hand Blown Glass
Adam Kaser is the owner of Kaser Glass Studio that specializes in hand blown and sculpted glass. He is an artist that is inspired by nature. From the coastline of North Carolina to the Great Lakes, Adam enjoys and respects what the environment provides. As a longtime fisherman, Adam appreciates detail and can bring each hand blown fish to life.
The Process
The process begins by making a drawing of a fish color pattern in glass powder on a steel table. The molten glass is then gathered onto a steel blowpipe where it is encased with many layers of glass color and patterns rolled onto the liquid glass. It is then blown and shaped by hand into a realistic fish species. The fins are attached as molten bits of glass then sculpted into fins. Each piece is hand made individually by the artist.
